Annual General Meeting
Before the AGM we'll have a Build-Your-Own-Sandwich buffet so we can all ease our hunger before the voting. The Children will have a special activity in the Cafe Room while the adults are in the Big Room. Teens are welcome to help with the younger kids, or join the adults at the meeting.

Nominations for Warden and Parish Council: Warden nominations must be made in writing with two seconders,...before the Annual General Meeting. Parish Council nominations can be made from the floor during the meeting, ...but only if you have already gotten approval from the person you want to nominate. We have a very diverse congregation at St. Catherine's, and I hope that we will have an equally diverse council for the next year.
Each council member is elected to a one year term, but may stand for re-election twice more. After serving three years he or she must stand down for a year. Some of our council members are rotating off after three years of service. Others have the choice to run or not depending on their own wishes. We have a lot of talented leaders in our congregation, and I have every confidence that we'll have a great council to lead us into another great year to come. Thanks to the 90 or so people who have enrolled to be eligible to vote at the AGM. That is a significant increase over last year.
