Baptism Sunday

On Sunday 21st September we were delighted to celebrate the baptism of Jordon Gidefor and Wee Eng Ang.
It was a moment of great joy, first to hear the quiet profession of faith from Wee Eng, her husband Ken standing as her sponsor / Godfather as Ken asked "Do you desire to be baptised?" and she responded clearly and loudly "I DO!" without a moment of hesitancy or fear; and secondly to hear the Hospital Chaplain telling us about Baby Jordanʹs first few months of life, his fight for survival and his parents’ patient trust in God that meant rather than an emergency baptism they were able to celebrate his joining the Christian family with friends and family in Church.
