Friedenslicht aus Bethlehem – Bethlehem Peace Light
Each Advent a candle is lit in Bethlehem and the flame is distributed around the world, often by Scouts and Guides, bearing the message of peace. A message all the more poignant in 2023.
On 24th and 25th December we will be lighting the Advent Wreath from the Peace Light … if you would like to take a light from it with you please bring a suitable lantern with you.
Thank you to all those who supported our recent collection for Christmas gifts for Refugee children.
30 packages of sweets, stationery, hats, socks etc were made up for kids connected to our refugee ministry. Both children and their parents were excited to receive their gifts.

Carol Service Thank Yous
Thank you to all those who welcomed, sang, played, read, prepared, served refreshments and cleared away after our Traditional Service of Nine Lessons & Carols on Saturday. Thank you to those who attended and those who donated to the collection. c. 1380€ will be split between our two chosen charities.
Every day can be a Christmas day,
for the Lord comes to us as he came to Bethlehem,
He seeks to be born in us,
He wants us to come to him like the shepherds,
He wants to live and work through us,
He comes eternally and seeks room in our lives,
for the Lord comes to us as he came to Bethlehem.
