From our Chaplain: Our cultural dedication Sundays have always been offered in the spirit of recognizing and praying with the diverse journeys, cultures, and histories of our chaplaincy members and never to glorify any government or nation-state. I feel it is important that we reaffirm the intention behind this Sunday’s service: not to celebrate a political entity, but to lift up in prayer the people of the United States, including those who have suffered historic and ongoing injustices, and those working for healing, equity, and truth.
- Women’s group will meet on Thursday, 17th July. 10:00 in the Anglican Centre. Newcomers always welcome
- 3rd August @10:00 – Philippines Focus Sunday (with provision for 3-9 year olds)
- 24th August @12:00– India Focus Sunday
Update from last Sunday’s Council meeting
- From September all Sunday services will start at 12:00.
(except 5th Sunday Joint Services and Easter Day) - Chaplaincy Workshop: proposed date Saturday 20th September 14:00-17:00
- Harvest Festival: Provisional date 5th October to be held as UK Focus Sunday
- A Book Sale is planned for mid November
