This Sunday’s Reflection – Walking with St. Luke: A Journey of Healing and Mission As we mark the Feast of St. Luke, the physician and evangelist, we reflect on healing as both a personal and social calling. From the Kreuzweg to the Gospel’s call to mission, we are invited to walk with Christ along the way of the cross—where compassion becomes courage and faith becomes hope for our world. |

Pastoral Groups
Since the beginning of 2025 we have been running a programme of Zoom Pastoral Group Meetings to allocate tasks for the coming Sunday and engage in prayer and fellowship with each other.
Every regular member of the congregation is allocated to a Pastoral Group and should receive an e-mail reminder the Monday before their Pastoral Group is due to meet.
If you can’t attend the group meeting on Wednesday, you can still offer your services for the coming Sunday: reading, providing nibbles, helping clear up after coffee. Just reply to the e-mail with your offer. The Chaplain is keen for everyone to participate.
If you don’t know which group you have been allocated to please e-mail news@stcatherines-stuttgart.de to find out.
Group meeting dates can also be found in the St. Catherine’s calendar.
Safeguarding Sunday – 16th November – over the next 6 Sundays we will cover certain areas of Safeguarding in slots during the service, culminating with an informal meeting on 16.11.25 – as Safeguarding Sunday.
We pray for the Philippines
After two typhoons and one devastating earthquake that recently hit the Philippines, another strong earthquake struck last week in my region in Mindanao.
Please keep in your prayers all those affected — the families who lost loved ones, those who are injured or displaced, and the communities still recovering from previous disasters.
Let us also pray for those who work tirelessly in rescue, relief, and rebuilding efforts.
May God’s mercy strengthen our people and sustain those who serve.
Amen.
On this Festival of St. Luke
We pray for all who are sick in body, mind or spirit.
For those who work in medical and healing professions.
