Dear members of St. Catherine’s Anglican Chaplaincy,![]()
As we are expecting high temperatures tomorrow Friday, 26 June and this Sunday, 28 June, we would like to remind everyone to take care and to decide wisely according to your own situation whether to come to church. Attending the service is always a personal decision, especially in very hot or very cold weather.
For this Sunday, we will keep the service a little lighter. We will have only two readings, a shorter sermon, and complete but shortened intercessions.
Both Friday and Sunday the music team, together with the Director of Music, will decide what is manageable for them, including the number of hymns they will play and lead.
We encourage everyone to bring anything that may help you stay cool. We will use the stand fan available in the church, and anyone who has a similar fan and is willing to bring it may do so voluntarily. We may also arrange water at the welcome table, as was kindly done last summer.
We will also continue discussing the possibility of having an 8:00 a.m. service during the summer months, perhaps beginning on 5 July.
Please take care, keep cool, and do what is best for your health and well-being.
Blessings,
+Antonio
