American Christmas songs of the swing era are performed in arrangements for choir, jazz band and chamber orchestra. The melodies and lyrics are a reflection of their time with their longing for peace and private happiness. The central Christmas message is winkingly combined with cherished English and American customs of celebrating the time of winter and Christmas. Zu Gehör kommen amerikanische Weihnachtslieder der Swing Ära in Arrangements für Chor, Jazz-Band und Kammerorchester. Die Melodien und Texte sind ein Spiegel ihrer Zeit mit ihrer Sehnsucht nach Frieden und privatem Glück. Die zentrale Weihnachtsbotschaft wird augenzwinkernd verknüpft mit liebgewordenen englischen und amerikanischen Bräuchen, die Zeit des Winters und des Weihnachtsfestes zu begehen. Die über 100 Mitwirkenden sorgen für eine feierlich, festliche Stimmung mit Gänsehautmomenten.
